Home Owners Feeling the (Low) Pressure

Enjoy those high-pressure showers now, because beginning in January all single-family homes in California, built pre-1994, will be required to install low-flow plumbing fixtures throughout the house. Most San Francisco's dwellers will be partially spared, as the requirement in apartments/multifamily buildings only applies to low-flow toilets, not all fixtures. Those who do not comply will find holds put on their ability to remodel or even sell their homes. Don't worry, any money lost remodeling can easily be regained with the sure-to-be-increasing-demand for black market shower heads. [InsideBayArea/Youtube/photo via Matt Jalbert]
