America's Cup Half Empty

New, 1 comment

Attendance for the overly-hyped America's Cup racing tournament has hit about 500,000 people so far, with another 500,000 expected for the final series. Those numbers, however, are well behind the 2 million originally estimated. The tournament has faced numerous problems thus far, including land disagreements, a lack of teams, training accidents and the latest, a cheating scandal by the reigning champions.
