Do you remember when the $1.6 billion Central Subway was supposed to cost only $647 million? SF Weekly does. And they also remember who the head politician was that promised that number, and what he stated about disguising true infrastructure costs from the very beginning. But the surprising part to them is our former Mayor recently admitting that he lied about it, and other construction project costs, and appears to be proud of it. [SF Weekly]
