Uber-Sized Office Lease

Uber Technologies, and its taxi-frustrating business model, are jumping on the Mid-Market bandwagon and moving shop to 1455 Market Street. The tech company has inked a lease for 88,000 sq. ft. in the former Bank of America data center, joining Square as future tenants. Tech companies "have leased or bought over 1 million square feet along the Central Market corridor" in the last two years, along with the development of residential properties such as 55 9th and Nema.
