San Francisco Warriors Watch

The Transbay Transit Center is not the only high-profile construction project that is facing increasing costs; San Francisco Business Times is reporting that the price to rehabilitate Piers 30-32 for the Golden State Warriors arena has doubled. Original estimates were around $60 million, but after a more thorough investigation the price is closer to $120 million. That is apparently not deterring the Warriors, however, with team president Rick Welts stating "It is without question the best site for this project." [Curbed SF/San Francisco Business Times]
