The conversion of Russian Hill's only garage into condominiums is nearly complete. Labeled "The Garage," 1945 Hyde Street will have seven Willis +Co-designed residential units and one commercial space. All the units will be two bedrooms and have distinct floor plans. Square footage will range from about 1,700 to 2,800 with and two of the condos will have private patios. A rooftop deck will be accessible to all residents. Three of the seven units will also be delivered as "warm vanilla shells" that are meant for total fixture customization. The building will retain 17 parking spaces to be sold separately from the units. Official pricing has not been released, but an official website declares the units are expected to begin in the low $2 millions.
