Remember when Supervisor Campos proposed renaming SFO the Harvey Milk San Francisco International Airport? After some pushback over costs from the Mayor and issues over other worthy naming honorees, the Supes will vote on establishing an Airport Facilities Naming Advisory Committee. The committee will recommend which of the four SFO terminals will be named after Harvey Milk, and establish a process for naming additional terminals, towers, and boarding areas. The nine member committee will be made of up of both Mayoral and Supervisor appointees and will only remain in existence for 18 months. If you've got some airport naming suggestions, start lobbying asap.
