An 80-room building to house families with hospitalized children has been approved to start construction next summer in Mission Bay. Known as the "Nancy and Stephen Grand Family House", the 30,000 sq. ft. building will provide shelter for over 140 family members of "children undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses."
