What you are seeing, and soon to be experiencing, is the planned construction of a 6-story, 27-unit condo development at 1501 Filbert Street by Trumark Urban. The $37.8 million project will produce flats and townhouses from 1,000-2,500 sq. ft. with patios, rooftop decks, and bridge views. The property is the first stage of a Trumark master plan to develop 625 units at various San Francisco sites (including this one) over the next four years. Most of Trumark's properties will be 50-150 unit developments in established neighborhoods, such as Pacific Heights and the Marina. Assuming an 18 month construction schedule for the Filbert Street site, it looks like your parking problem will be extended well beyond February 14.
