Hospital Resuscitation

Plans to develop the Oak Knoll site in Oakland are being resurrected by new owner Signature Development. The previous owners, Lehman Brothers, went bust after the 2008 financial meltdown, along with their hopes to develop the site of a former naval hospital (which was imploded in 2011). Signature development "plans to submit revised plans for approval within the next year and could start construction on the project as early as two years from now."
