$3.5M Will Get You SF's Second Most Expensive One Bedroom

New, 5 comments

The very prestigious title of the Most Expensive One Bedroom for Sale in San Francisco still goes to unit #1601 at 1250 Jones Street that's asking $3.95M, but now there's some close competition with unit 2A at 1001 California hitting the market at $3.5M today. The famed Beaux-Arts residential building is perched at the top of Nob Hill with neighbors like the Mark Hopkins Hotel and the Fairmont. The 1-bed, 2.5-bath, 1,910 square foot abode features a rotunda-style living room that faces the Pacific Union Club and a wood-paneled library with french doors out to a terrace. Thankfully the current owner didn't strip away all its interior glory like another unit in the building. As expected, monthly HOA dues are extremely high at $2,699, and there's leased parking nearby at the Crocker Garage.
