The Late Lee Herbst Gruhn's Mansion Returns to the Market with a Higher Asking Price

New, 7 comments

Herbst Manor (aka 2800 Pacific) in Pacific Heights first appeared on the market in October of 2011 when it was listed for $12.5M. The 5-bed, 4.5-bath, 8,100 sq. ft. home was built in 1899 by San Francisco starchitect Ernest Coxhead. Unfortunately the mirrors and gold gilt trim on every surface was a bit much, so the property lowered its price to $9.75M. Shoot forward to today and the home's playing host to the 2013 San Francisco Decorator Showcase. With its new duds on display for all to see, it's been relisted at $11.995M. Dearest readers, think this fanciful abode will find a buyer this time around?
