San Francisco eviction notices have climbed to a 12-year high, according to the San Francisco Examiner. 1,757 eviction notices were filed with the San Francisco Rent Board during their official use calendar which ended February 28. Janan New of the San Francisco Apartment Association wants you to think this may not be as terrible as it sounds, noting that "some (evictions notices) are negotiated between landlord and tenant and are withdrawn, and others are fought in the court."
