Moving Right Along: Senior Housing in the Tenderloin

With the demo of the existing St. Anthony's Dining Room completed last fall, the new building at 121 Golden Gate Avenue is well underway. The 10-story concrete structure with a plethora of bay windows will feature 90 below market rate units reserved for seniors in addition to a new, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and dining hall for the St. Anthony's Foundation. The $40 million project is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2014, and will be located just down the street from two other high profile Tenderloin developments: The Kellen Cullen Community, and The Lofts at Seven.
