Every month we publish a map of the 25 most expensive homes for sale in San Francisco. Since these big and beautiful abodes are asking a pretty penny, they often sit on the market for quite some time before finding a buyer willing to shell out eight or nine figures for a piece of property. 2430 Broadway in Pacific Heights plopped on the market on April 11 asking $10.95M, and went into contract almost immediately. At the time, it was the 7th most expensive home for sale. The 5-bed, 6-bath home sold for asking yesterday. It's a real stunner, mixing ornate architectural details with modern amenities like a gourmet and Carrara marble kitchen and a master bathroom (also almost entirely covered in Carrara marble) that's bigger than most studio apartments. The home also boosts views galore from every level. Other property highlights include a wood paneled study and a seriously swanky grand staircase.
