Planned Mission Bay Apartments Moving Right Along

New, 6 comments

The growth of Mission Bay continues with Venue, a 147-unit apartment complex by SummerHill Homes. This mix of studio, 1-, and 2-bedroom apartments with 2 loft units is seeking LEED Silver certification. The 228,715 sq. ft. building includes the obligatory ground floor retail, and many amenities common in high-end buildings: community center, fitness center, and courtyard with a dining area. Some features unique to this complex are a waterfall, a dog wash and a car wash. The complex is expected completed and ready for occupancy in September. Is this a positive addition to the area? Or a reason SFist asks "Why Is Mission Bay So Ugly?" Readers, your thoughts in the comments.
