By way of a press release that landed in our inbox we learn that Apple is preparing to open a new flagship location at 300 Post Street in Union Square. The new store will replace the current Union Square store that's located at the corner of Stockton and Ellis streets. Presently occupied by a Levi's store, the new location is 45 percent larger than the Stockton Street store. Apple is planning to employ 400 workers, an increase of 50 over the current total. Applications have been formally filed with The Planning Department, and Levi's is expected to vacate the building later this year.
