Parklet Problems

New, 1 comment

Because of neglect and neighborhood concern, the parklet outside of Martin Macks in the Upper Haight has been flagged for removal. "When it was constructed it was not well received in terms of appearance. It's not a very inspired design and it's kind of ugly," said Ted Loewenberg, president of the Haight Ashbury Improvement Association. If the removal is approved, it'll be the first parklet in San Francisco to be removed. [SF Examiner]
