A proposal to increase tenancy in common conversion in the city may have the support of at least six Supervisors, but it still needs support from Mayor Lee. "I'm trying to see whether or not there's some solid ground for all the sides to work together, I need landlords and tenants working together," the mayor told reporters after his weekly Question Time appearance before the board. The proposal would allow owners of the TIC units to pay a fee to bypass the current lottery system in place, possibly suspending the lottery for a period of 10 years. At least 2 supervisors are calling for more negotiations.-Michael Conrad [SFGate]
