It's quite clear that the San Francisco rental market is hot, hot, hot right now, so here at Curbed we're going to bring you a bevy of rental properties each week for your perusal. This week we looked for top-floor apartments with views. You'll pay a pretty penny for such things, but it might be worth it if you've ever experienced upstairs-neighbor early morning Tae-Bo.
North Beach: This one bedroom will set you back $2,650 but includes a rooftop office in addition to a private deck. The views alone are seriously sexy, but the apartment itself isn't bad either with lots of natural light and hardwood floors. The building allows pets and includes shared laundry and private storage. The location is great too -- only a block and a half from all the action on Grant and Green. [craigslist]
Russian Hill: We love this 1 bedroom for $2,800 for its floor-to-ceiling windows that really take advantage of its views of Fisherman's Wharf. The kitchen looks small, and the living space is a little dark, but there is a fireplace, and the unit has hardwood floors everywhere but the bedroom. The roof deck here is shared, but well-equipped, and the building includes laundry, storage, and basic cable (!). Parking is also included in the price, which is rare in this neighborhood. Mission: The Mission is known for being flat, so it's rare to find an apartment with views. This apartment, for $2,800, is a 750 square foot one-bedroom, with a walk-in closet and a hardwood floors. The kitchen has been redone with a different, more red hardwood, to match the counter-tops, and lots of nice appliances, including a dishwasher. The building includes several patios and shared laundry, while this unit also comes with parking and storage. [craigslist]
