It's quite clear that the San Francisco rental market is hot, hot, hot right now, so here at Curbed we're going to bring you a bevy of rental properties each week for your perusal. This week we took a look at 2-bedroom properties in North Beach and Telegraph Hill, for renters who like bars, views, and hills.
This 2-bedroom for $2,500 is quintessential North Beach: on Columbus Avenue with a view of Washington Square Park. It's on the top floor with tons of natural light and charm. The living room has a fireplace with a mirrored mantle and rustic-looking hardwood floors, and the kitchen has been redone with subway tile, granite countertops, and stainless appliances. This 2-bedroom for $2,995 is one of those where the dining room is serving as a second bedroom, with a closet in the hallway. We love it for the location on Lombard by the park, in-unit washer and dryer, and shared backyard. Inside the unit there are really nice hardwood floors, a fireplace, and some decent-looking carpet in the bedrooms. The kitchen is a little dated but has tons of cabinets and a lot of room. We think the place on Columbus is a better deal, but this one is not to shabby either. [craigslist]
Across the street from North Beach Pizza on Grant, you'll find this 2-bedroom for $3,295, so it's right in the thick of things. It's on the top floor with views of Russian Hill and the Transamerica Pyramid. It's bright and clean, with a newer kitchen, though the refrigerator appears to be in the pantry, which is a little strange. [craigslist]
