Berkeley Postal Drama

The ongoing saga of Berkeley's imperiled downtown post office is indeed ongoing. Berkelyside updates us that the Berkeley City Council "adopted a resolution Tuesday night to ask the U.S. Postal Service to press the pause button on its plans to relocate its downtown services and sell the Allston Way facility — for at least one year." This resolution stands in the face of seemingly equal resolve on the side of the USPS, which, being broke, wants out ASAP. [Berkeleyside and CurbedSF, previously]
