Big Grant for Berkeley Transit

The U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded a Berkeley-based consortium $3.4 million in grant money to study transit development. "The funding will support new multidisciplinary research in three key areas of interest surrounding transit development: environmental sustainability, economic competitiveness and livability."
