The San Francisco Board of Supervisors yesterday voted 11-0 to landmark the Doelger Building at 320 Judah Street. Located between Eighth and Ninth Avenue, the Doelger Building was one of the neighborhood's first Modern buildings designed in 1932. The building is planned to be used as a new location for Mission: Cats, a family-owned cat hotel, and the new owners are committed to a sensitive restoration. A second hearing with the Board of Supervisors on April 2nd, following a Mayoral signing, is still required in order to recognize the Doelger Building as an official landmark.
