The whole city has been dealing with lack of home inventory, a situation exemplified well by Noe Valley's January, 2013 sales data. Only five single-family homes sold this January, compared to 11 the previous month. All of these sales came from negotiations initiated in Nov. or Dec. "What's really remarkable, though, is that not a single condominium changed hands in January 2013. In December, buyers snapped up nine units, and last January there were five condos sold."
