It's official: This Thursday, BART directors "approved a 5.2 percent fare increase, which will raise the average one-way fare from $3.59 to $3.78 starting Jan. 1." At the same time, they voted to increase parking fees for those who stash their cars at BART stations. Here's hoping you get a corresponding salary increase to cover it.
