Beachy Keen Rentals

It's quite clear that the San Francisco rental market is hot, hot, hot right now, so here at Curbed we're going to bring you a bevy of rental properties each week for your perusal. This week, we looked for rentals near the beach so you can take advantage on rare summery days.

Sunset: This studio for $1,300 is a great apartment: lots of light, remodeled kitchen, and great location one block to the beach. For that price, you won't get things like parking or laundry, but the N-Judah stops outside your door and laundry is only a few blocks away. Check for noise from the train and the cafe downstairs, but if you're a sound sleeper, this is the apartment for you. [craigslist]

Richmond: We had to go a few blocks out to find something in the Richmond near the beach, but this 2-bedroom condo is kind of awesome. It will set you back $3,600, but we have two words for you: bathtub television. There are other great features as well: a fireplace, in-unit laundry, storage, and a private balcony. The listing also mentions that "Golden Gate Park is really your backyard... events like Outside Lands are right at your doorstep," so you best be into the kids and their rock music. [craigslist]

Russian Hill: This cute studio in Russian Hill is $1,800 and steps away from the bay-side beach at Aquatic Park. The location means you'll need to be into tourists, but we think the access to Ghiradelli across the street may be worth it. Another plus: your out-of-town relatives will understand where you live in the city! We like the updated kitchen, hardwood floors, and plentiful closets. Laundry is in the building, parking is not.
