Parking Woes

New, 9 comments

Plans to try out bike lanes along a popular strip of Polk Street are now being met with opposition, despite the plan's support from the SFMTA and the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. The Save Polk Street Coalition is a group of Polk Street NIMBYs that are fighting the proposal because on-street parking will be lost. It's always about parking. The SPSC has a website, which asks concerned citizens to "stop the radical agenda of the SFMTA." [SFist/Save Polk Street Coalition]
