It's quite clear that the San Francisco rental market is hot, hot, hot right now, so here at Curbed we're going to bring you a bevy of rental properties each week for your perusal. This week, we looked for locations near the most reliable form of public transit around here, BART.
Civic Center BART: If you can dig the neighborhood, Civic Center offers the best of both transit options with both Muni and BART, just a questionable elevator ride away. This one bedroom apartment will set you back $1,995 per month, but has nice wood floors, a recently remodeled kitchen, and a claw foot tub. The unit looks to get plenty of light, and has plenty of storage. You've got BART, so you won't miss the lack of parking, but you will be thankful there's laundry in the building. [craigslist]
16th Street BART: On the northern side of the Mission, you'll find this studio for $1,775. It's been nicely remodeled with dark wood and a new kitchen. The lobby looks nice and swanky, for when you want to impress the UPS person. We like that the unit is in the back of the building, which should shield from street noise. Having to go to a laundromat brings us down a little, but hey, maybe you'll have a great meet-cute over separating whites and darks. [craigslist]
24th St BART: This studio is $1,498, as long as the landlord doesn't change the price when you takeover the lease from the current tenant. It's in a great location on Valencia, and the apartment itself looks very function for a studio: room for a bed and couch, as well as tons of storage with two walk-in closets. The kitchen looks a little claustrophobic, but has a little eat-in area which means you won't be eating dinner on your bed. [craigslist]
