SOMA—After closing down its original Folsom Street location in November, Saison has returned with a beautifully renovated new space at 3rd and Townsend. At $248 for a 18-20 course tasting menu, it's now the most expensive ticket in town. We spoke to chef Joshua Skenes about his plans for the menu, and a full photo gallery displays the dramatic new look.
CHINATOWN—Masa's, the legendary fine-dining spot that's been around for 30 years and launched the careers of Richard Reddington, Julian Serrano, and Ron Siegel, announced that it will close on February 16. Its hotel owners plan to renovate it into a more casual concept.
