Transit Center Watch

Although 3 years still remain until completion of the Transbay Transit Center, the new facility is making significant progress with the completion of a 5 foot thick concrete slab covering the western half of the site. Excavation of the eastern half of the site is expected to be complete in January, allowing workers to prep the site for the remaining foundation work, while the western half can now move on to building walls and columns.
