Ground has been broken for the development site at 400 Grove in Hayes Valley, which is a hotbed for residential development right now. This will be the second of three condo projects in Hayes Valley by developers DDG and DM Development, who are also involved in 8 Octavia and 450 Hayes. Designed by Fougeron Architecture, 400 Grove will have 34 studio, 1- and 2-bedroom condos surrounding a C-shaped central landscaped courtyard for residents. If all goes according to schedule, the development could be finished as early as late 2014.
