What $3,300/Month Can Rent You Around San Francisco

New, 1 comment

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour San Francisco's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. This week, we're investigating apartments listed for $3,300/month. We're going to surprise you this week and give you some 2-bedrooms for this price - likely because it's winter and the market is down just a touch. Also, none of them allow pets. Which will win out - WalkScore or view? You tell us which lease you'd sign.

In West of Twin Peaks, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath is going for $3,250/month. It's got 1,100 square feet of space, a giant living and dining area with a fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding glass door that leads to the deck, jaw-dropping city views, parking for 1 car included, and laundry in the garage. Both bedrooms look pretty big, and the master has direct access to the bedroom. The bad news? A very dated kitchen. No pets.

In Russian Hill, this pretty top-floor 1-bedroom is asking $3,250/month. The listing notes that the photos are of an adjacent unit, so no telling what the available unit's actual views are, but given the location, we're willing to bet they're good. The Polk & Lombard location makes for great pedestrian amenities. The remodel is elegant, there's onsite laundry, and a parking space is available for an additional $295/month. No pets.

In the Castro, this $3,350/month 2-bedroom, 1-bath has some traditional charm, but the kitchen looks to be a bit of a dive. There's onsite laundry and some utilities are included. Street parking and no pets.

In Presidio Heights, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath is asking $3,300/month. It's got 1-car tandem parking included and a remodeled kitchen with a dishwasher, as well as laundry onsite. It's also on the third floor of a walk-up. No pets.
