Mayor Lee and the Board of Supes Talk Affordable Housing

New, 2 comments

Mayor Lee is back with the Board of Supervisors today to talk affordable housing. In one of their regular policy chats, the Mayor will address two questions from the Supes. First up, Supervisor Mar wants to know how they can expand tenant services to western neighborhoods, as the Richmond has some of the highest Ellis act and no-fault evictions in the city. Second, Supervisor Chiu is looking for an update on the Housing Trust Fund and how many affordable housing units are under construction. Coupled with last week's Ellis Act Displaced Assistance Ordinance, the Supes are clearly making affordable housing a top priority.
