Welcome to a special series of Curbed Comparisons, where we scour the San Francisco's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. For Renters Week, we'll be comparing rentals across the city every day, increasing the price point by $1,000/month each day. Today we're investigating apartments listed for $4,500/month. If this price point doesn't spell dream apartment, well then we don't know what will. You tell us what looks like the most bang for your buck.

In Noe Valley, this 2-bed, 2-bath, 2,000-square-foot apartment is going for $4,495/month. It's pet-friendly and one of the only rentals in SF that permits smoking. We hope that means it doesn't smell like an ashtray.
