Transportation problems are a major concern when it comes to the new Warriors proposed arena, but city officials think the recent America's Cup may have provided a blueprint. The increased service and temporary shuttles running along the Embarcadero moved roughly the same amount of people per day that the new arena would demand with very few issues. The problem, of course, is money. City officials are currently working with Warriors brass and the Giants (for their proposed Mission Rock development) to contribute to transportation upgrades.
