Tear-Jerker

The city of San Francisco rallied around a young cancer patient today, in efforts to make his Make-A-Wish dream of being a super hero come true. The Make-A-Wish foundation partnered with city officials to transform San Francisco into Gotham City, organizing a series of capers for five-year-old Miles, now known as Batkid, to perform, including saving a damsel in distress and battling the Penguin in AT&T park. Mayor Ed Lee will present Batkid, who is now in remission after years of chemotherapy, with a key to the city at the end of the day. [SF Gate]
