Former Art School Compound In Potrero Lowers Price Again

New, 1 comment

Was: $5,995,000
Then: $4,995,000
Now: $4,350,000
You Save: $1,645,000 The stunning compound at 2255 Mariposa in Potrero Hill has reduced its asking price yet again, this time trimming off $645K. It came on the market back in May, asking nearly $6 million. Then, in September, it took off $1 million. Now, the seller has dropped the price by another $645K. The property was originally used as an art school, before New York art dealer and collector Allan Stone bought it in 1987. Stone extensively renovated the property and used it as a home, office, and gallery, before he passed away in 2006. The compound consists of a main house 30-foot ceilings in living room and panoramic views, and a two-level guest house.
