Rent at Facebook Arms

Facebook is teaming up with a local real estate developer to construct a 394-unit apartment complex in Menlo Park. The company is using its resources to help combat the housing shortage that is currently plaguing the Bay Area. Don't think of it as charity work, however, as the complex will be "within walking distance" of Facebook's headquarters. It will also be geared directly to the young tech crowd with features like a convenience store, pool, sports pub and yoga room complete with personal trainer. If all goes well, expect a 2016 occupancy. [SFGate/rendering via KTYG Group ]
