Bridge Palms Planted

The first four of an eventual 30 trees have been planted at the new Bay Bridge site. The large canary palms cost $15,000 a piece and are expected to grow up to 50 feet tall. The remaining 26 trees will be planted intermittently from now until next spring. [SF Appeal]
