"Folks for Polk", a local non-profit advocating for infrastructure improvements, wants to make sure everyone has a say in the planning process that will reshape the popular Polk street corridor, which will benefit from extensive streetscape improvements come 2015. The group's secondary goal is to facilitate discourse between city residents and government agencies, which has resulted in their decision to host the first ever Facebook Q & A between the SFMTA and the public on October 24th at 3pm. This should be welcome news to the many San Franciscans who have strong opinions on changes to city streets, but who don't have spare time to attend traditional community meetings designed to help them find out more about the changes coming to our city.
