Because the stereotypical tech start-up isn't insufferable enough, 50 cloud-computing companies sprinkled in SoMa from Market Street to AT&T Park have decided to rebrand the area as the Cloud Corridor. Creating a microhood is usually reserved for real estate agents looking to not be associated with the neighborhoods they're trying to gentrify, but this time around it's in an effort "to recruit engineers and cloud talent for an experience, not just a job."
