First approved way back in 2009, work has commenced on 870 Harrison with the existing 2-story building having been razed and excavation/foundation work ongoing. When completed this 6-story building will house 26 one- and two-bedroom units, 4 of which will be reserved for the obligatory BMR requirements. A ground floor retail space will be reserved for production, distribution, and repair (PDR) business use. No word on whether the building will be condos or apartments, or whether the facade is still considered brown.
