Apple's sometimes delayed, often celebrated "Campus 2" goes before the Cupertino Planning Commission today seeking its final approvals. The enormous campus will total 2.8 million sq. ft. in its 4-story main building, a second 600,000 sq. ft. building, over 100 acres of landscaped outdoor space and 700,000 sq. ft. of solar panels installed on the rooftop. When completed for an estimated $5 billion Apple expects 12,000 people to work there. [Curbed SF/SFist]
