Mothership Cleared for Landing

Yesterday the Cupertino City Council voted to unanimously approve Apple's master plan for its new headquarters. The campus will be centered around a 2.8 million sq. ft. building resembling a flying saucer, will feature a second, 600,000 sq. ft. building and still maintain 80 percent parks and open space. When completed Apple expects the campus to house up to 14,200 workers. [SF Business Times/Curbed SF]
