Shatara-Designed Residences Headed to the Excelsior?

A recent look at Shatara Architecture's official website has uncovered renderings of a new four-story residential project with parking and ground floor retail on Mission Street. Though the architect's website has no details on the development, some streetview sleuthing has confirmed that the lot on which the building will be constructed is located at the corner of Mission Street and Russia Avenue. The building is being designed by the same team behind the condos at 1490 Ocean, and will be situated only a couple of blocks away from the new development proposed over on Ocean and Cayuga. Currently the lot is nothing more than an empty space covered in litter and overtaken by weeds, but it could stay that way for a while, since there's no word yet on when construction is set to commence.
