UCSF Mission Bay Turns 10 Years Old

Where once a defunct railyard moldered, today flourishes a 3-time Nobel Prize winning science institution. And this month, the campus celebrates its 10th year. Mayor Ed Lee joined city and university officials to commemorate the event, adding dramatically that "with talented scientists and entrepreneurs now resident in Mission Bay, the city is no longer satisfied to be a regional life sciences leader but a global power."
