Breaking up is hard to do

As if the 49ers move to Santa Clara wasn't painful enough, now we learn that the Rec and Park Department thinks losing the team "will put a significant dent in the income of the The City's park department." The 49ers leaving our city for a shiny and new stadium isn't the only contributing factor for the reduced income, but it is the most damaging. SF Examiner reports that the move "will deprive Rec and Park of $3.4 million in rent money and other revenue sources in 2014-15." [SF Examiner/photo via Whole Wheat Toast]
