Less Than a Year After Opening, the Inn at the Presidio is Already Expanding

The LEED certified Inn at the Presidio is bursting at the seams since opening last April, so the Presidio Trust has decided it's time for an expansion. The current inn houses 22 rooms in a renovated, century-old former bachelor officer quarters known as Pershing Hall (interior photos can be found here). The expansion will take place at a nearby renovated historic house on Funston Avenue. The house will add four more rooms to the Inn's inventory. Like the main inn, the the soon-to-be finished Funston House will "highlight the national park's military history with artisan touches, old photos and a collection of memorabilia," reports the San Francisco Business Times. The new rooms will be bookable come April, and will be between $195 and $240 per night.
