Yesterday's Board of Supervisor hearing was chock full of approvals. First Sup. Weiner's Mills Act reform went through with flying colors on the consent agenda. The tie-your-dog-to-a-lamp-post legislation also passed, after Weiner said the prohibitions outlived any usefullness they once had for "people who tie up their dog while getting a cup of coffee." The 1100 Lombard appeal actually was resolved before the hearing even took place, as Sup. Farrell applauded the parties for working together, essentially saving everyone from a waste of time. It was sunshine and puppies (tied to a fire hydrant) all around. [SF Gov TV/Photo: Shutterstock]
